Site Definition & Evolution

My ultimate goal other than providing a forum and meeting place for my extended family members is to make this site the main "Cruickshanks" (and all variations thereof) repository and forum for Cruickshanks' worldwide. Through my research to date, I have found relatives spread across the world, and although we are probably all related in some manner, it is hard to find a definitive resource to research all the information. There are many forums in different genealogical sites that contain "Cruickshanks" forums, but all the ones I have found so far are 'generic' and not dedicated to one name. This is what I hope 'goCruickshanks.com' eventually becomes, and hope that you will help me in my quest!

INTERNET EXPLORER 6

Due to the advanced web techniques used on this site, Internet Explorer 6 support is limited. The site is compatible with IE6 and will function properly, however some of the graphics and visual effects are limited.

Even later versions of Internet Explorer have more issues than other browsers with many Web sites. We advise people to change their browser to FireFox, which has become the 'defacto' browser of choice, and offers the ultimate in Web browsing.
